Can any team offer a new player to our league I have been contacted by a player who has recently moved to the Leeds area and is looking for a team he can join.
If you can help please contact me and I can put you in touch with each other.
Paul Grimes LBSO League Secretary.
We have had an 11th hour withdrawal from the G division. LPSA B in the G division are unable to find enough players to compete in the league.
We are hopeful there will be no more disruptions to the leagues now, as we are all aware we have lived through uncertain times if we can complete the season with the teams we have and hopefully get some more interest for next season we can try to fill each league up sadly these withdrawals have come too late for changes to be made this season.
With 2 days to go to the new season could all captains/IT delegates please check that their login details are working and up to date in order to input results when required.
Bob Patterson has sent a reminder to everyone explaining the promotion/relegation criteria. We always promote 3 but in certain cases the rules allow for any number of teams to be relegated should the need arise, as in the case of the new season.
I think all requests have been dealt with if I have missed any please email me and I will amend as required, apologises if anything has been missed.

You should all be made aware of Belle Isle WMC 'D' team, and the very classy gesture which the team made at the presentation night, which was held at the Bramley Band club last Wednesday.
As runners-up in the E Division for the 2019/20 season, the club handed back their £200 prize money, for the LBSO to use the money for the development of junior snooker in Leeds as one option.
WELL DONE BELLE ISLE 'D' - we shall update you all as to how the money has been used in due course.
Bob Patterson - LBSO General Secretary / Treasurer.
Yesterday was the intended closing date for the Stan Brooke Singles, Pairs and Team competitions, however, a flurry of last minute entries have unearthed a couple of glitches on the website which are currently being sorted, plus unfortunately there has been a team withdrawal over the weekend which will result in some player re-registrations.
Thus in order to ensure that everyone who wants to enter is able to do so the competitions will remain open until at least Sunday 24th October.
Nearly there..............
Crossgates Recreation Club does not allow under 18s to play snooker and neither does it allow them to attend to watch.
This is a new rule for the forthcoming season, taken by the club itself, to which we have absolutely NO control over - as per the LBSO rules posted on the website - "About Us / Documents".
Following on from Paul's post below, if there are any issues or amendments required regarding competition entries for the new season please let myself or Mark Ball know asap.
All new and transferred players should now be able to enter competitions from the correct club.
Paul Marlow
The new season is now showing on the website please can you check if all players are correct and most importantly that you can still login with your username/passwords that you have always used if you don't have a login details assigned please let me know.
Any adjustments required please email me and I will sanction over the weekend.
It has been a long time since we had competitive league snooker in the Leeds area I hope you are all eager to get back to playing.
Please respect and adhere to any clubs rules regards COVID restrictions the LBSO have no say whatsoever on individual club rules that they may have imposed in order to keep members and guests safe.
Whilst we have always encouraged players to shake hands if your opponent is not comfortable with this once again we ask you to respect their decision.
I shall post updates over the weekend if anything should arise.
The LBSO Committee wishes you a safe and successful season, thanks in the main for your patience and understanding we have all worked hard to get snooker back good luck to you all for the new season.
