The deadline for entries has now been extended for a further week.

The league tables are now active on the website.

Some of the leagues have teams that are no longer playing in the leagues this has been sent to the website designer for adjustment and will be done ASAP.

All the teams that are active have the correct data showing.

The first handicap review has now taken place for the 2021/22 season.

Here is a brief outline of the handicap criteria.

If a player wins/loses 4 frames by a winning/losing margin of +/- 25 points per frame a handicap review will take place.

The amount of adjustment is dependant on the win/loss margin.

If a player has a 6 frame win/loss margin they will have a handicap review whatever the win/loss points margin is.

The first adjustment for any player will be decided by the websites automatic recommendation if it is the second or more adjustment it is done manually to try to find "middle ground" for the players handicap rather than going up and down by the same amount this is to prevent players "yo yo" handicap adjustments.

The first handicap review of the new season is now complete please click on handicaps from the drop down menu to view.

New handicaps come into force Monday 1st November.

Please note, entries for both the Len Lee Pairs and Sykes Cup singles will close this coming Sunday 31.10.2021.

We have recently been made aware by delegates, of the sad passing of another three playing members of the LBSO.
They are-
1. Paul Harrison (South Leeds Cons) - who died last year,
2. Richard Kempley (Tinshill & Cookridge) - who also died last year during the 1st Covid lockdown, &
3. James Harker (Edmund House) - who recently passed away on the 14th October this year.

Thoughts and sincere condolences from all involved with the LBSO, are extended to the family and friends of all those concerned.

The three members here, will be added to what is unfortunately now becoming a fairly long list, who will all be remembered again out of respect, with a customary minutes silence at the next AGM, due in September 2022.

All three Stan Brooke competitions have now been drawn. Please check competitions tab. Closing date for all preliminary ties is Sunday 28th November. All 1st round ties to be completed by Sunday 2nd January.
