16 Apr 2023**NEW SEASON REGISTRATION**Please refer to the registration document that has been posted on the website, once again a reminder that there will only be ONE meeting for the registration forms to be returned completed with the fees, this is the only chance to register for the 2023/24 season.
16 Apr 2023**HANDICAP REVIEW**The final handicap review of the season is now complete please check for adjustments by clicking on handicaps from the drop down menu.
New handicaps must be used for the remainder of the competitions.
This years Vets Handicap will take place at the NSC on Thursday 18th May 11:00 start. It will be a one frame KO with a one frame plate competition for first round losers.
16 Apr 2023**3man KO - Pre-lim Draw**The preliminary round of the 3man KO is now live, please see competition tab for more details.
All preliminary matches to be played on Wednesday 19th April.
The first round draw will be carried out following the preliminary results and will be played on either Wednesday 26th April or Wednesday 3rd May
As one league season concludes another is ready to start almost straight away!
A meeting will take place on the 22nd MAY at SOUTH LEEDS CONSERVATIVE CLUB, starting officially at 7-45pm (doors open from 7pm).
As Paul Grimes' website post dated the 10th April indicates, there will be ONLY ONE MEETING this year on the 22nd May to register teams for the 2023/24 season.
Therefore, the 2023/24 REGISTRATION FORM is already uploaded on the website - go to "About Us / Documents / General" - and is also attached to an email just circulated to all team Captain's currently shown on the website.
The REGISTRATION FORM needs to be COMPLETED and RETURNED with payment of the FEES in FULL (£125 per team), to the MEETING on the 22nd May.
Due to there being only the one meeting this year, this will be the ONLY opportunity for last season's winners, to return ANNUAL LEAGUE TROPHIES for engraving.
Reminders about the meeting will be circulated and posted on the website between now and the 22nd May.

This years Yorkshire Pairs competition will be held at the NSC on Sunday May 7th.
Closing date for entries and fees is Wednesday 3rd May.

It is with regret and deep sadness that we have to announce the sad passing of Paul Butler who died early Monday morning 10th April.
Paul was the steward of Ireland Wood for many years as well as their playing captain for the A team.
Many of you will remember playing against Paul who was just as happy playing safe as he was potting the balls he was a fierce competitor.
when Ireland Wood closed in 2013 he remained a great friend of Jonny Booth, who's Ireland Wood's B team eventually relocated to Tinshill where Paul continued his playing from there.
Paul's funeral will be on Friday 5th May 10.45 at Lawnswood crematorium followed by the wake at Tinshill & Cookridge club with everyone welcome.
The LBSO committee offers its condolences to Paul's family and friends at this sad time.
The closing date for entries of the 3 man KO has been brought forward to Friday 14th April, with the draws conducted over the weekend!

The final of the Leeds City Championship Pairs between Ball/Raper (Farsley) & Gaughan/Hughes (Roland Road) will take place on Tuesday 25th April at NSC, 19.30 - dress code applies!
